Thank you. And just so you know\, I am at it again!  \nOn November 5th\, I will run the NYC Marathon in memory of my father\, Morris. I can’t think of a better way to share with you who he was than to share excerpts of my eulogy… \nMy dad was the kindest man with the most gentle soul. He had the ability to make everyone around him smile\, feel comfortable and laugh at his corny jokes. He had an amazing amount of self-esteem – those of you who knew how much he loved to sing knew that when the opportunity arose\, he would take the microphone…no matter how good or bad he sounded. For those of you who thought he was quiet\, it’s not true. When given the opportunity one on one\, he LOVED to talk… About everything. Sports\, coupons\, gas prices\, current events… He loved to learn about you and paid close attention to details.  \nMy dad was the strongest man in the world – for as long as I can remember he was in and out of the hospital. His body endured so much trauma and all the while\, he never complained. I hope to one day be as strong a person as my father was. I hope to one day emulate all of my dad’s amazing qualities.  \nFor those who knew him\, I’m sorry for your loss of a very special friend.  For those yet to meet him\, I’m sorry for what you missed. \nI am running the marathon with efforts to raise $3\,600 for an organization I have been volunteering for since 2011 – KiDS NEED M♥RE.
